What is the height from the top of the bedrail to the top of the crossbar? Looks like it was redesigned. Could a set of tamper resistant hardware be ordered with the knobs?

 

The height is 6”.

Just ordered me some. Now to decide on which RTT to put on top.

 

I realy am interested in purchasing these but not sure they will work with the setup I have . I have a access tonneau pro low pro cover with this set up.let me know what you think or if you have something else in mind .

 

I think that rail might be a problem.

Our uprights have to fit under it, and attach to your accessory rail.

 

My Yakima Skyrise RTT arrives today and my KBVoodoo Hi Rise bars on Friday.

For those who have these bars how long does install take?

 

I have the access cover as well and would really like to find some bed bars that will work with the cover. Has anyone modified an access cover to work with the bed bars? Im wondering if it would work with some trimming or if it is a bigger issue.

 

Set up was a piece of cake,everything is well built and fits together nicely.

 

Looks awesome. Got mine set up and took it out camping this weekend. One issue I experienced was on the Yakima system the clamps are designed to fit smaller crossbars. They went on fairly well but when you start to really tighten them down it doesn't grip like it should.

You have that issue with your Tepui?
