Good point. I used to drive on furnace road in lorton going to our old work building, but a lot of guys started picking nails up from all the trash and dump trucks dropping crap. So i stopped

Its not hard I added my tracks and will add a prinsu soon. Find a decent shell any color in good shape for under $600 and you can get color matched for $3-400 add some tracks and a rack and bam nowhere near the brand new price plus you built it the way you want.

You guys with exterior mounted hi-lifts put anything over the open end of the handle to keep water out?

Stock as Fuck or Not Fucking Stock
I am thinking around 2K. Definitely want a better off-road experience but I don't want to completely kill my pavement driving either as this is my daily driver. The more I read, I just don't want to just do a lift just to sit higher, but I do want to add more capability/durability to the truck. Stock suspension has been through enough. I almost said fuck it, I'll just go Bilstein all around take the easy way out. I definitely don't want to do LT.

Not really sure yet. I am working for a Judge in Manassas for a year starting in August. After that I hope to join a small firm in a city/town in Virginia (Leesburg, Winchester, Culpeper, Warrenton, etc) and become a "country lawyer" - general civil practice with some criminal defense.

Bajakits and Kings for $2300. You can leave your swaybars on and keep good road manners while still very capable and durable

Dude for $2k you can get pretty much anything but LT. Now I know why you are so torn. For me, it was easy. I am broke, so...spacers and block!
