I like white letters out, but am also a bit old school. Unless you're going for a completely blacked out look, I prefer the raised white lettering although it's a PITA to keep clean and looking nice.

 

I say in, if you wheel it, they will scuff and scratch.
Out is nice on old muscle cars etc.

 

Every set I've put on the truck has had white out, even got the new 35 with white out

 

Didn't you just buy that $140 set of LED's for your truck?

On a dark-colored truck, out. On a light-colored truck, in.

Yours is blue, so out.

But, I also am very old school

Only tire I would and did mount white letter out is the BFG's. All others I mount white letter in. I prefer the solid letters that BFG uses rather than outlined letters that all the other company's use

 

Shhh... hopefully my wife doesn't remember that... My plan is to sell the LED's and buy an HID set. I should just about come out even on that deal I would think.

I like white lettering on white trucks as the only exception to your statement. On light colored vehicles that aren't white, I would agree with you.

 

I know, I just prefer in on trucks, out would not look good on this.
