95.5 and 96 Tacoma 3.4 guys. I need your help

    I'm interested in seeing what type of EVAP system you have on your truck. On the left inner fender under hood, do you have the squareish looking box, or just a round can? If you are unsure, a picture of that area (just in front of the brake master cylinder) would be awesome!

    Interesting. I watched a video the other day about changing a head gasket on the 3.4 and it definitely had a round can. My 96 2rz has the round can too...

    1st picture is the EVAP box. The 2nd is the vacuum tank for the vacuum ADD motor on the front axle. Thank you for the pictures!!!


    Anyone with a 1995 Tacoma 3.4???

    This is a 96 3.4, don't think there was a change from 95. But, I've obviously been wrong before.

    That is odd. My VIN sticker in the door has a 9/95 build date. I wonder when the change happened. Sorry I couldn't help.

    Probably the earliest 95.5 got the older EVAP can.
