    Quick question about loading the bed... Picking up my sliders this afternoon: 175 lbs. Would you load them with the tailgate up and rest them on top, or tailgate down. Gonna strap them down either way but I think I'd feel better with the gate up -- as long as the load on it isn't a problem.

    I left the gate down and ratchet strapped them down

    Although, Ive got a bed mat, so they didnt even budge

    Yeah, no bed mat. I'm guessing they'll use a lift to load it so it's likely going to have to go down anyway...
