i dont think you can turn off abs unless you fux with it manually?

also i was comenting on the not pulling comments. if i was pulling i would not be using a tacoma.

but i do know what you are talking about. i drove a van loaded with sound equipment up to prewitt ridge many years ago. on the way down my ford brake fluid turned into water as i found out later was a thing with ford fluid and heat. noticed it, nothing in front of me, slammed the parking brake, got my girlfriend ready to jump out, almost went off the cliff when it was the outside of the turn, made that one and then had a hillside on the outside of the next turn and ditched the van ever so slightly into the dirt side. kept trying to put the tranny in park as i nosed into the hill just enough to keep from bouncing off it. toward the end of the turn i finally stopped. walked down the rest of the road and had lunch at that resturant overlooking the water. by the time we were done it cooled enough to have brakes again.

the next party we did at prewitt i made the people requesting us pay for a uhaul, that van wasnt ever going up there again.

    Scary shit.
I have put an abs kill switch in. So i would think that might of helped but not sure at that point sence they were already overheated.
My buddy and i in his father en laws ford custom with cab over camper had the brakes go out coming back ftom stumpy medows hit three graud rails before a tree stopped us. Hell of a ride.

If the cable is loose, West Marine in Oakland will let you use their tools. May need to buy some terminals or something from them.

I saw Ben Harper in high school where my girlfriend was a barista at this tiny coffee shop. It was the first 'concert' of my life and definitely one of the most special. I see Ben once or twice a year. Stoked that he's back with the IC.
