@thewarriordinghy would call him a dick, just like he said one driver was a dick at AMS last year during a meet and greet.

I can certainly see Kyle's frustration having to answer the SAME questions over and over. Kyle gives it 100%. That's why he has a solid contract at Gibbs, and M&M Mars backs him. Kyle has made it clear that he doesn't like talking to press after getting beat. I don't think it is fair to have to be polite with a mic shoved in your face the moment you get out of a car. He already answered the same question earlier and answered it with poise. I'd be tired and ready to go home too if I'd just driven 600 miles with a near- 2 hour rain delay, it was midnight, and I was married to Samantha.

 

Isn't it a requirement of Nascar for the top X number of drivers to have a press conference? If you don't like the expectations of the job, find a new job.

Still doesn't change the fact what he did is personality in the press conference. Was marshawn Lynch wrong to say you know why im here for the entire time he had mandatory press conferences?

 

Hahaha, what a joke. You CAN be upset and conduct yourself in a manner that doesn t resemble a crying 5 year old. He acts like his mom just told him he couldn't go play outside the rest of the day by picking his nose and throwing the Mic down. There's a common sense way to be upset and then there is this stupid shit he does just for attention because he loves to play villain. I dont mind playing villain, just at least act somewhat mature about it.

 

His "personality" is that of a child, not a mature NASCAR driver that finished second. There are better ways to go about your frustration, be a sarcastic dick....anything but picking your nose and throwing the Mic down because your tiny brain can't think of anything mature to do.

 

He actually had a somewhat decent interview on radio before the fox press conference which makes me even more mad, he deliberately chose to act that way for God knows why, and it wasn't even good. Act like a mature adult who is mad, not a child, that's all I ask. I'm done with my Kb hate speech after that, I'm moving on lol.

 

I think you need to watch more past NASCAR, there was a way to be upset without coming off as a snobby little 5,6,7,8,9,etc year old and still making your point. The way he conducts himself is af he needs to be given everything like a child. Now we all know he has hella talent, but his conduct makes him not only a villain (which he loves) but a villain in a sense that he is a snobby little brat much like the Dillon brothers who expect greatness to be given to them and not earned to an extent. I realize you need some type of talent to drive these cars but it wouldn't be hard to do if you were raised to do it.

 

At least he is honest about it... Better than most who give the same answer each week, despite who it is. IE I had a fast car, wasn't good enought, I would like to thank (insert sponsors here) and we'll get them next time. Not sure about y'all but that gets old.

 

I agree, but lets be honest here, what he did was arrogant and made himself look like a dip-shit.

 

He has every right to be arrogant to the press. Tony did it when they asked him the same shit over and over, and people loved smoke. To be honest, Kyle held himself better than I would have, I'd have told the reporter GFY.

 

Kyle was a complete ASS. He is my favorite out on the track now, and I could not even dream of defending his actions this time. He was a dick head and came in 2nd place. And Tony never picked his nose and pushed over the mic because he didn't win. Kyle needs to Get to Fuck over himself before he loses fans.

 

Did you watch above video? He may as well tell them off, but in today's world he would be fined for it, so this is why u get what he did.

 

Is there more of a disappointment than Kasey Kahne over the last like 5 years? He is losing the great clips sponsorship now.

 

Which vid, the one where Busch dumps Ron under cation, or the one where Tony says it like it is? Either way, I would rather see either over Busch being a putts because he came in second.

Again Kyle is the driver I route for, he is the reason I went to truck races, I think he is a great racer, but I can't not defend his actions in that press conference.

 

He'll be out of a job soon... One of my uncle's who pulls for Kasey even says so..

Correction: Tony did it and he was often an ass too. He grew into his saltiness because Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. didn't step up to be the new voice of the garage, and few respected Kyle Petty and Michael Waltrip enough after Dale's death. People did not unanimously love Smoke. I thought he was a grumpy ass. I grew to like his grumpy ass later in his career in the same way I did Earnhardt, Darrel Waltrip, and Kyle Petty late in their careers too. They'd earned it by that point. Kyle Busch hasn't earned it. I'm 4 year older and salty as hell about EDL, but I don't pitch a personal pity party over it when I get called out. I learn and grow; something Kyle still has lots to do, should he accept it. He'll be better for it.
