3-4 people are needed to install one of those heavy fuckers. When we did his we had three people holding the bumper with one under putting in bolts.
Dont forget to have new fender clips on deck because chances are most will need to be replaced.
All in all it wasn't mechanically difficult, just time consuming. I'm game to help out! Idk, a half days worth of beer? Lol. It'll take several hours.

    Whose cutting the bedsides?

@Speed Freek is there a special tool to pull the pilot bearing from your crank when doing a clutch?

@MadTaco461 I think I packed mine with grease and used a punch/bit with a slightly smaller ID of the bearing. I hammered it through the center and the grease pushed the bearing out.

Wet towel method is easiest and has no cleanup after wards vs the grease method. I usually end up with three blue shop towels shoved in there before it pops all the way out.

Well if we think about it, Mike said it takes a few hours and 4 people. I'm thinking at a rate of 1 beer per hour (we are supposed to be working more than drinking, work with me here.) Give ourselves 3 hours so that equals at least a 12 pack. The issue is that Mike has a beard which immediately makes him more efficient at drinking beer so my equation is inaccurate.

@Pirhett ill be out of town this weekend, 6/10 is the meet at K1, but Sunday 6/11 I think I'm free if that works for you and the rest of the group.
It's a lot of work, so to account for bullshitting, drinking, eating, staring at parts confused, and actual work I'm guessing it'll be 6 hours, but we could probably get it done in 4 if we're actually working.

Edit: 6/11 is a big bear run. Maybe the weekend following?

I'm continuing to see a lot of inaccuracies with my previous equation... :quickdraw:
