Detox is when you drink a fifth of vodka while playing Phase 10, dial the GC in Korea, get the phone stolen from you, listen to the GC get interrogated by your best friend, listen to your best friend's dad tell the GC your embarrassing family nickname, start being called terrible family nickname by the GC, pass out in the wee hours, wake up and notice the nickname has stuck, reconsider your life choices, drink your pain away again but with rum this time because you're out of vodka, wake up the next morning and drive your best friend back to the airport, then swear to never drink again until the next week when you're reunited with your best friend but in New York this time.
