Not really too valid as MANY places we go and camp, there is no service for any carrier. The trick there is never be a one vehicle show if shenanigans can break out. As long as there are at least 2 vehicles, someone can drive to cell coverage.

If it were under 5K, sure! LOL

I've been on Verizon since the last time they had unlimited so I can't really speak to other carrier's service except what I've seen. On T-Mobile my wife constantly had no coverage in our house and never when we're in the sticks. I don't always have coverage on Verizon when I'm in the sticks, but I've always been able to hike up a nearby hill or stand on my tailgate to get a call out if need be. Sometimes my phone rings and I'm thinking "how the hell do I have service right now?" But it happens pretty frequently.

To me, knowing that I can make a call with relatively little effort if I really need to is worth the money. But I don't camp where you guys do so maybe your experience is different than mine.

Meh. Verizon pissed me off yesterday, and they are pissing me off today too. They also pissed me off monday, twice, but one time was one of those piece of crap private contractor stores. I think I bought a new phone, and I think it will be here tomorrow, but I am unsure. Plus they charged me 30$ for upgrading my phone. What kind of sleaze ball ripoff his that? I have to pay almost a thousand bucks for the fuckin phone, plus I have to pay 30 bucks as and "upgrade fee". Fuck Verizon. They are shit. Problem is, everyone else is shittier.

Lol. This talk always crack me up. All carriers suck whether it be customer service or reception spots. Everyone either absolutely hates where they are or loves it. Switching isn't going to matter it'll be same story again

T-mobile works great in Payson and the surrounding area. They did some major updates about 6 months ago. How do I know? I work up there. Still I think Vz has a slight edge over them, but they aren't near as bad as they once were. Worth checking out your specific areas.

It annoys me is all. There was a mid aged lady that would come by the bar i play pool at, she had a congenital heart disease, was pretty well known around the area. Really cool broad, but one day we saw she had been checked into the hospital. A week later she was dead. Anyway her daughter posted up a gofundme to raise $6000 for transport of the body and burial back to Florida where their family was from. I donated $200, it was all i could spare at the time, but the whole campaign got only a little under $3000.

Then you see something like this. By comparison, a bad ass bumper fund would be a better cause then paying off that kids well deserved speeding ticket.

We had an issue with gofundme's on TW Last year. One was started to buy someone a lift for their truck. They raised plenty of money. But we have a member who's waiting for a kidney transplant and has a ton of health issues and outrageous health related expenses but people won't donate to his cause. I occasionally/randomly PayPal him money to help with life and expenses when I have extra fun money leftover. I'm all for supporting causes, but make it a worthwhile cause.

Oh, I agree completely. I don't hate on him... why not ask, worst case you are right where you started. The morons that give to these guys are the problem. Maybe they felt they were paying him for the comedy factor, I don't know. However, they fueled his stupidity and he will continue to do it again and again.

Gofundme was started as a great idea, but is so saturated I almost ignore ANYTHING with a gofundme link. They guy that just wanted a late night burrito and asked for $10, he got something like $10k... I can see that. Couples trying to pay for a honeymoon, or funeral expenses... I get that. Even the single mom who needs a car repaired to stay working... I don't believe them... but I understand them.

Some dumbass spouting "America F* Yeah!" and Running Eagle piss in his civic (they run on flied lice, not eagle piss). I am not a fan of the new mustangs, but they are more American than his civic.

But that said! Give me money for a Bad Ass Front Bumper! America... F*ck Yeah!

EDIT: If I have some personal knowledge/connection with the person(s) setting up the GFM, then that is a different story.

@snowtank You still looking for a bike for your wife? We are thinking about selling our 2007 Buell Blast. It is a great bike to learn on, my wife has just out grown it and needs something bigger and more powerful.

As a precaution it's best to pack @RPS1030 + powerwagon + trailer. As a bonus he comes fully equipped with Verizon.

I bet he wants to port his numbers over, and that wouldn't work in that situation.

It would be a pain, but he could port over to Google voice, pay off the phones, start new service, port the numbers back to Verizon from Google voice.

I say Google voice because then he could take his time porting back to Verizon.

I have used Google voice since it came out. I keep switching phone companies based on the best service but never have to deal with porting my number. Plus it's nice that it rings my office, my cell, and my watch.
