Looked at the Colorado. Basically the same size as a double cab. And that only gains ~3-5" over mine.

Making progress on the crawler for the first time in a few years.

If I ever mention doing a complete paint job ever again, shoot me. Most miserable thing in the world.

NW Motorsports offered me 13K for my truck, honestly I have no idea if that's a good offer

Actually, I think that is pretty fair for his year, AC, and I'm sure mileage. Maybe 14 would be better

Heeeeeell no! Haha. Got the rest of the body panels primered today. Paint is the most tedious, miserable thing in the world. Pretty stoked to be making progress on this thing again though.

I know a guy towards Silverton who would have done that job for less than you'd imagine... Full body shop too...

Yeah. I rattle canned my car then wet sanded it and called it good a few years ago. I'll eventually paint it, but not until everything else is done (also have to do some lead work). Right now, I'm waiting for my new back half to be ready for me to pick up down in Sacramento, then it's on to building the frame and trying to find someone with the tools to help me build a cage. I need to get some big pieces of cardboard to make templates for the main and front hoop.

"Back in the day" I did a lot of lead work on old vehicles, custom sleds, and hotrods. Now it's a lost art.

Gentlemen I know I don't post in here much but I need some help. I rolled my truck and need a first gen bed and body to get up and going again. If anyone has a lead on one Id be very appreciative.

I have one original seam that peeled, and a little bit of body damage that had bondo on it when I bought the car. I've since ripped the bondo off and plan to lead the seam and a couple other spots, then either lead or use "lead free" metal filler from Eastwood for the body damage and to smooth the repairs I made where the PO added turn signals to the front fenders.

After this, I'm always paying someone else to do paint. I just didn't want to spend to much on it though. I fully plan on bouncing this thing off boulders and flopping it.

Definitely best to wait on higher end paint job until you've done all that work haha. Lots of chances to scratch things up. Rattle can is good enough for a few years and keeps the rust off.

Sweet! There are definitely some North End Taco drivers on here, but I am not one of them. Strangely enough, I fell in with the Oregon boys (and girls) and drive back and forth a lot. Just keep an eye on this thread and the PNWE Expedition thread and you'll definitely see when people are going on runs or planning trips.

Also, don't be afraid to jump into conversations in the forums! That was the best thing that I did. Particularly the bs threads.... definitely a great way to meet people in the forums. Hit up @ChadsPride's build & bs thread and say hey sometime!
