ADS extended travel, 14" 700 lb springs, Total Chaos UCA/LCA, Dakars. 37/12.50r17 Pitbull Radial Rocker. SCS 17" SR8. 4.56s with f&r ARB lockers. Relentless sliders, full skids, debadged. 35% tint on all windows. Katzkin leather w/ heated seats
I've been busy on the truck. I was running 285s and Bilstein 5100s for a while and decided it was time for and upgrade. I got ECGS third members front and rear. Lockers at both ends and 4.56. For...20170111_153152.jpgMy new 17" SCS SR8 dark bronze with 35s Toyo Open Country. I didn't have to to much for the street clearance as I did all the trimming to fully clear the 285s. But... She is not ment for the street so....20170116_101405.jpgTime to start cutting. I took off 2" to 3". I hear everyone complaining about the flair clips do I just left everything on the truck and didn't mess with them. On to the fenders...20170116_112135.jpgI plan to fab a fender liner when everything is all figured out so I cut relief lines on the fender so I can easily attach the liner to it when im ready. Just bent them back.20170523_094006.jpg
Finally got my ADS suspension!!!! Extended travel with 700 lbs springs. Ditched the sway bar while I was there. Had the exhaust cross over rerouted so I can smooth full set of RCI skids20170419_190927.jpgGot some Dakars old style and put teflon liners between the top three leaves. Ubolt flip kit with Timeron bumps.20170523_102517.jpg
I am truly impressed with the quality of ADS. 20170523_131819.jpgI'm all set up ready to go. Until the test drive. I tried the JBA uca and I really like the concept of them but they don't work for my application. I rub pretty good on the flat lip. I tried spidertrax and they fixed the uca rub. The down side is I would have to tub the firewall and relocate the cab mout. Hmmm no thanks. Maybe for 40s but not for 35s. Took the spidertrax off and waiting for my total chaos uca to come in. I measured a friends and it looks like it should work. Fingers crossed! Hopefully it will be this weekend's project. What's an open fender well without a snorkel.20170526_172322.jpg 20170528_115750.jpgI'm really happy how it turned out. I ended up using 3M double sided mounting tape for the piller mount. I don't like the idea of drilling it. So far it's perfect! Oh and waiting 17 weeks for my Relentless Fabrication rock sliders is finally over so they are on there too. No good pictures of them but really like the signature kickouts they have. Sorry for the long post but I've been busy on the truck and wanted to share.
So I was rubbing hard on the JBA uca when turning. Long story short I tried spidertrax and that didn't work. I would have to tub the firewall and relocate the cab mount. Not for 35s. So I got Total Chaos uca and they work like a charm. Here is an interesting comparison20170604_001711.jpg The TC on top of the JBA. I was rubbing on the flat part in the middle lower part of the picture. It's what the ball joint bolts to. It was hanging out over an inch over the TC and the TC has a higher pitch to the forward tube. End result is awesome and at full lock I can my fingers between the tire and uca. Not all uca are the same

    Are floor mats a mod?
Edit-wave your hand at your wife, and say-
They are lying. You need new suspension. Move along, move along.......

It's worked for me to the tune of about $20k worth of mods.

I'm selling my 285s for $400 for the set of 4
but holding on to the 5100 for whenever I have to rebuild the ADS. They are the one in the middle. Guessing 30 to 40% tread left. Not sure but you can see how much is left in the picture. They are dirty in the picture but you get the idea.20170111_232708.jpg 20170112_155616.jpg

Will you post a pic of the exhaust work? I'm going to do the same. I think.

Technically yesterday I had new wheels and tires installed. I had a hard time getting lug nuts, they are on backorder. Thanks to local member @kiahb12 who let me have his lug nuts so I could get my wheels and tires installed. As soon as my lug nuts arrive he will be getting back a new set. Wheels are SCS Ray 10's, 16" x 8" and tires are Hankook Dynapro Arm's 265/70R16.

I thought they would be brighter. But then again they were only $30. Have the covers on the lower light bar and a one solid cover in the middle of the both 30" light bars, but still super bright I like the results.
