I picked up CVT Rainer earlier this year.

After that trip, I decided to build a trailer for it. Always wanted to anyway. So, I found this on CL for a few hundred $.

Now, I'm scrambling to get it ready for next weeks trip to Utah and Yellowstone. The RTT lifts with gas struts, it's got 12v, an 18 gallon water tank, Toyota lug pattern/brakes, DIY 3-axis Coupler, fridge/freezer and a camp shower. There's actually a lot more in there...

Hey guys, plan on taking the back roads from Pioneertown to Big Bear this Saturday.

Anyone know of this route? Wanted to know if anyone knew of any hidden gems for fishing near or in Big Bear?

Any primitive camping spots half way or near Big Bear?

    Thanks!

Here's a few from tonight. Got a few things bolted on and did a check on my cable/chain lengths. I've been thrashing on this for over a month and I'm ready to get out and camp. I'll be in UT this time next week.

The thank hangs lower than I want, but I'm going to throw a plate under it for now. It was $44 on Amazon and will work until I redo the frame.

This is what I was after. I can almost grab a beer out of the fridge, from the driver seat. Definitely need to shorten up the chains.

Here's a close up of the hitch.

This winter, I'm going to build a new frame, with Independent suspension and air bags. I'll also do a lot more tube work and most likely use air cylinders for some kind of crazy rack contraption.

Thank you! Ya, they were on sale at Costcos for less than $12 each, so I stocked up. You just can beat that! I paid $75 for the ONE Wavian that's on my truck...

I also bought a few at Costco a few weeks ago, but I have been getting them for $9.99 each at a warehouse discount store. I got a used one marked as is for $6.97 for a buddy yesterday. They're made by Sceptre who of course are the same people who makes the Nato cans. so you cant go wrong with the quality, and the spout works pretty dang good.

I put a couple small quick fist on the bottom channels of the RTT. Hopefully this keeps me from smashing my fishing pole again in the bed. :fingerscrossed:
