This is primarily a ladder rack.

Ah okay, I have a mid rack but want to attach a kayak to it...what do you recommend then? Just legs from the higher rack?

You may need to convert to our tall rack.

When you say convert, can you attach the tall rack legs to mid? Or do you mean buy a tall rack lol

I can hook you up with a conversion kit. You need four new legs and two new crossbars.

Thanks again for your quick responses to my questions. Measured everything up today, and just placed my order for a mid-height short bed rack!

I figured if I need any additional height down the road (maybe another inch or two), I'll pick up the rack tonneau cover brackets. Looking forward to getting it all installed!

Hey Voodoo, quick question. If I bought a third top member for this, would it mount in the center without any modification? I see in the pics, there is a break in the slots right in the center, are the holes in the ends of the top members wide enough to bridge that gap?

You might have to elongate the slots just a touch.

I just packed our last tall rack. Plenty of mid height in stock.

New tall parts will be here in about 10 days.

If you add it to your cart on our website, it will calculate shipping for you.
