Love those James Baroud tents! Thinking about getting one myself. Kinda hate the logo and branding though. Does anyone know how to remove the branding? Is there a chemical trick to know about here?

HI, Where did you purchase the awning from? Also would like to know the details on the pullout kitchen. Did you build it? Is there a write-up for it someplace?

    Thanks Glenn

    So, another gear update:

After camping over memorial weekend, I removed the tent/rack from the truck so that I could see how the truck performed without the added weight and drag of the tent and rack combo. As I've reported previously, the truck averages between 15.5 to 16mpg with the tent on and has NO problems with steep grades or staying in gear. Driving up to Flagstaff from Phoenix, so roughly 1600 ft above sea level to over 6000 feet above sea level, the truck can easily hit and hold 90mph the whole way, while averaging 15.5mpg loaded down with tent, rack, a bed full of camping gear, bike and two dogs. Awesome, not even a little mad about that.

NOW, with the tent off, so far with mixed Highway and town driving, I am seeing an average of 18.3mpg, again, awesome! Considering I am running a HEAVY 34" tire that are roughly 70lbs each, 18.3 is pretty awesome. But wait, there's MORE!!!! ha ha.. Power and torque continue to put a smile on my face. Off the line, the truck just pulls sooooo much harder and without having to run it in the higher rpm range. Freeway driving as well is a 150% improvement. Holds 6th gear at 75 to 80+ mph, and cruises as well as accelerates with ease. I was a little concerned about losing some top end, however having hit 95 mph as a test, the truck still had plenty in the tank, so I'm guessing if I lost anything, it'd be exceptionally minimal.

Now that I have the Hypertech speedo recalibration device working properly, I can know that the numbers I am reporting are in fact accurate. SO, safe to say, I am beyond happy with the improvements made with this gearing upgrade. The gears also continue to be about 50% quieter than the factory gear set, which is likely the byproduct of the REM Polishing done to the gears prior to the install.

For those on the fence, trust me, it's worth the money if you plan on keeping the truck for any extended period of time.

I had that problem with a USB drive that was only 16GB. I used a 64GB and it recognised no problem.

Installed a set of last night. My canopy is pretty weighted down with accessories and I could see things twerking pretty good through the mirror during last weekend's off-road adventure. These things are solid! I expect them to help keep things under control a bit better. We'll see.

I just received my bed stiffeners from @At The Helm in the mail today. I'm gonna drop them at the powdercoater in a minute. No canopy here, but future roof top tent and bars over my tonneau cover. Your pictures from your camping trip in Bend were amazing @nwAdamR .

    What a fun truck!
I was actually looking at them yesterday, and I am really glad to have them. Sirius Radio decided to let my radio work for free yesterday so i was cruising through the stations thinking about how much happier I am that I have these knob grips.
