I am so close to being able to buy it! I need to sell 1 more box of brackets and i should have enough to get my winch and still have enough to buy brackets without coming out of pocket.

    Very nice!

I am still on the fence on getting a winch... not sure how often it would ever get used to justify it right now.

Nice I'll get to see how good the light is before trying one myself. Glad I showed it to you!

The winch is the one I went with. If I remember correctly I got lucky and after watching prices for months found it on sale for under 500. Are you going with the Comp or regular x20?

Well you are talking about getting front and rear lockers, you have all this armor, have all those offroad trips planed, and you cant justify getting a winch??
That is how i feel. When i have to pay a tow truck $500 to come get me unstuck, or when i am waiting for friends to show up, then i will be wishing i had a winch. Would suck if you had no service!
Yeah i am trying to see how much money i will have when the bumper goes in for powder coating. I would really like to get both the winch and the light at the same time!

I started painting my bedrack finally. Waiting for the primer to dry now. Going to hit it with some black spray on bed liner.

I have been thinking about it though! I will probably throw it on the truck to see how it looks. Will grab a couple photos to post up also.

I just have all the paint already so i feel like i should stick to the original plan...

You can always return/exchange the paint. Only a little lost time going back to the store.

I added a poll so people can vote on what color the rack gets painted.

Also a big thing to keep in mind here is that i will be selling this rack soon, and i will be building a mid rise rack for my truck. Im thinking i will want to paint it black, as that will help it sell better than it being white.

Paint is cheap, if the next owner wants a black rack they can respray. And I would avoid bed liner as a top coat also. I often find myself climbing around my rack to move stuff and am glad it's smooth and not rough.

I may swap it out. I was thinking that the bed liner spray would hold up well but i think that a flat look would be better than a textured look.

Also i plan to get the X2O Comp winch.

I've used the bed liner in my sliders and bumper. It really does chip and scratch to easily imo.

The comp is worth it to have the lighter and less abrasive synthetic line.
