    thats an interesting concept but I kinda like it.

    My biggest thing is I want something durable for field work, nice enough for the office, and something that I can have lined paper or engineer style I think.

    I really like having a physical copy of my notes available at all times, but want a backed up version online so that might be a good route to go with vs scanning all my hand written notes on a scanner each time.

    There's nothing false about it, they show the actual size. Case holds the entire kit too, not just the quad.
    Besides, I have no intention of hiking with the thing, it flies, and that's kind of the idea behind the quad, isn't it?
    The case is just for the back of the truck.

    The mavic cases are about 1/3 of the size of that and hold everything. And i would call the mavic compact, not ultra compact.
