Good question. We offer the OEM+ for use with completely wireless winches like the Warn Zeon 10-s platinum. It has no clutch lever so a solid faceplate is okay. Alternatively, you could pop the hood and reach down to the clutch lever. The oem+ was our original design, we added the "universal" winch access holes as an option earlier this year.

errr, well I have normal arms I guess and its relatively easy to reach down there, but if you wanna make absolutely certain I'd either get the universal model or the Warn Zeon Platinum 10-s

I'm not certain of the grill, but it looks popular. One of the other trucks I posted has it too. Perhaps another forum member could chime in.

Bump. Let's go! OP, can you clearly define the reasons why to choose universal over OEM? Thank you

Really its a matter of preference, both models allow for you to reach your clutch lever. If you like the look of a solid bumper and dont mind popping your hood to reach your clutch lever, choose OEM+. If you want easy access to your winch with your hood closed and like the access holes cut into the face, choose the Universal option.

if I slap a winch into this baby, on the stock TRD OR suspension, will my front end sag?

The Smittybuilt winch on the SSO website says 67 pounds. I'm not running any aftermarket skidplates, just bolt on sliders. I also run sumosprings in the back because I often carry heavy loads, so my truck has a bit of rake already, I'm worried with a winch she'll take a nose dive.

people often say it sags about 1/2" to 3/4" on oem front suspension. With the rake you already have, if you're borderline, you may want to upgrade your front springs.
