Im sure that possible, Anything is possible... BUT I have never dug that far into the Tacoma to figure out a surefire and reliable way to make that happen. I Haven't even had that idea. But, you can always mount the Nav anytime switch near the passenger :)

It was more of a Toyota Engineering gripe (I don't have alot of them). My dog could navigate. He sets the switch on.:)

    PM on the way.

Thats a pretty good idea. Could probably be easily done with a normally closed relay and possibly a toggle to override if you need to switch it back to normal for some reason with a passenger.

Is it deployment time? Alot have been leaving these past few months. Can that new nav motion overide switch replace and go in the spot that the round switch was at?

Yes, I'm deploying in about a week.

The new switch can replace the old one. But, it requires a new switch and a new panel.

If I recall correctly, you had your radar detector where the new panel will go. So, it would be hard to implement.

My switch is installed next to the 400w a/c switch in between the camera switch on the end. Take care over there.

I just got home tonight , inspected the kit I ordered. It is a well thought out kit. Very good instructions. Ive been a diesel mechanic for 40 years and most manufacturers dont go into detail like you did. If anyone in my area ever needs help installing your kit, I would be happy to help.
The wires are even pre stripped !!!!

Got my kits in last week. Won't be able to install the reverse cam anytime until I get to taking apart my center console and installing my switch panel. Instructions look real good though. Can't wait to get it hooked up
