Size lift to fit 35"???

The thing is a 6" lift on 35's gives you no more GC than a 3" lift on 35's. Your cutting shit for both. So why not do the 3".

 

6" DB looks higher (cab of truck sits higher) and maintains more of the stock geometry, resulting in better on road handling.

Not everyone is dedicated to offroading. Some dudes will spend thousands of dollars out there just for a look.

 

I believe the drop brackets are different for the 6" and the 4" kit. But I am guessing.

 

35's I wheel alittle bit mostly mud and hill climbs yes I drive a 2wd experienced driver can wheel with a 2wd except rocks I don't do rocks

 

Yes and higher cab/bed/bumpers means better aproach/departure angles, better break-over angle too = better in some type offroading.

With 3" lift you have only 2-3" downtravel at front and 5-6" uptravel (which can't be fully used if bigger tires because of rubbing), with drop bracket lift you have 4-5" downtravel and 3-4" uptravel = much better in offroading and less to none rubbing issues at full compression.

I still don't like 6" drop brackets, 3" is much more functional (this is what Rough Country offers).

 

Unless you get extended travel coilovers! Then you get more downtravel. The rear end of my DB has wicked flex and since I ditched the swaybar the front does too, but it only goes as far as it would stock in the front end - due to stock UCA and LCAs, with a new UCa I got more travel for sure

Please stop, we get it you have a drop bracket but no sense in spewing bs because you couldnt figure out how to stuff 35s.

Would you reccomend 4.0 bs or 3.75?

I have 4.75 with 1.5 spacer and this is where I'm at lol

 

Also can't believe someone is trying to say the db is better...better approach angle for what? Curbs? Youlle slam that POS drop bracket on the first rock

 

Your picture is super blurry but looks like you need to cut/hammer more. Both of my wheels are 3.5 bs but different width so -25 offset (16" wheels with 35s) and -38 offset (17" wheels 37s) so I couldnt really help you

 

My caster is only 1* so I think that has to do with it... The firewall is hammered and the cab mount is as far back as possible.

 

The bracketry on the 4" and 6" kits is identical.

 

3" / 315's. No rubbage.
