    Have you done the wire bundle shake under power or is it shorting as soon as you turn the key ? If it is as soon as you turn the key trace those circuits dash, starter any lights that come on with ignition only. If it is only under load check ignition system and any electric actuators And of course check the easy stuff grounds and light sockets etc . That is where I would start and work backward. Oh one thing a buddy of mine {vehicle fire insurance investigator} has had a rash of on trash trucks is battery cables chaffing against the frame or clamps holding it .
