How much ATF WS does my Tacoma call for? I know I can fill and use the overfill plug, but I'm curious and I'd like to know the amount called for. Thanks

A little of this and a little of that.
    Welcome to TW.

The owners manual has a section that lists capacities of required fluids.

When I drained my pan I got exactly 3.25 quarts out, and then I put exactly that amount back in. I still need to do the temp check though.

That's a very very small portion of the overall quantity.

To do a full fluid flush you'll need closer to 12 quarts I believe. There's a good DIY transmission flush thread around here. Search for it and I'm sure you'll find it. If not, shoot me a message and I'll try to find it.

I'm just doing multiple drain/fills, in another week or so I'll drain and fill it again.

I just bought a 2002 Tundra a few days ago to use as a work truck, now that thing is super easy to drain and fill... simply drain 4 quarts from the pan, and pour 4 quarts back in through the dipstick tube. Easier than changing the engine oil.

If you are doing pan drains - elevate the front end of the truck and you'll get 4 qts. drained if the unit is properly filled. A fllor jack does the trick. The higher you lift - the more it drains.
