Corning doesn't do the optics anymore? Is bushnell as good with the glass as Corning was?

Sounds to me like they need to slice some off the price after they find the exact model you had already negotiated.

Damn that was 10 years ago and just entering the 50's. Screw that your correct! Given a choice...

The fireplace is to the left. And it is -30 below outside in this pic and in the upper 70's inside. Doesn't really matter C* or F* at those temps it is pretty close together.

Years ago had a Ford Tauruas wagon with the 3.8L the Ex wanted. And just after warranty at 36K started blowing head gaskets and I was deployed overseas all 3 times. She (I) had to pay for the repairs. Took a class action lawsuit for Ford to admit it was a problem and we spent thousands on repairs. She never kept the receipts so never got reimbursed.

Respect Ford for the fact that they are the only ones that never took the bailout. And would love a Raptor. But a Ford will never again grace my driveway. And no offense to anyone that does, in fact respect. However 1) it has to work. 2) if it doesn't support. Epic fail.

In the Northwoods most everyone drives a Dodge. Been there done that and very easy to work on. But I don't want to work on them on them anymore. Or rebuild trannys. But they have come a long ways lately. At least Toyota has decent support even if your frame rots out. The others not so much. For me if it wasn't a Toyota I'd look really hard at Dodge. Not looking personally, and just saying.

Yes Corning still does Optics, and if you want a grind on a pair of Serengeti they still send them back to Corning, Inc. for it :)

    :sorry: :bananadead:

:fingerscrossed: They make it right and give you a great deal on the truck you want.

exactly ... a nice, big, farmhouse THICK slice ...

    Wrong branch indeed.

When I bought this truck, my final decision was between a Ford or RAM; I preferred the interior fit and finish on the RAM and the exterior appearance over the F150. We've owned 4 Fords over the years; all of them reliable, but I will say they have the damnedest knack for making routine maintenance difficult for a DIY guy ... always irritated me quite a bit more than the Toyotas, Dodges, Hondas, and even Volkswagen (yrs ago). I have to say, for ease of routine maintenance, the Japanese (Toyota & Honda) were well ahead of the others IMHO.

And with that I'm out ... dropping dogs off at Mitch and Meghens on my way into work. EDIT: get thru this shift and we go fishin'!!!!

    Sleep well all.

Your not supposed to chew on them ... Mine did fine through numerous gravity checks , a few water dunks and various assorted mishaps and misadventures . The screen was getting to small to comfortably read and it was acting very odd about charging even after I put a new battery put in so 3 years of service it is now retired to the drawer.

I had a Kyocera way back when. I used to run my Gateway laptop through it.
    This time I went from a iPhone 5s to a 7 plus.
Everything's the same, all my apps are in the same place they were. Its the same but better.

    Can't find his post.

That's where I'd throw in the towel and go get another 900 tractor looking at the age of the one in pic.
I've been lucky so far. Got my first one on sale and clearance saved a bundle. Still have it 15 yrs later it's my back up.
Now the newer one is the one I broke and haven't had time to fix yet. Hoping to this weekend.

    Evening grumpsters :luvya:

I take mine off for shooting, I wear shooting glasses (glorified safety glasses), I'm a much improved shot now that I can focus on the front sight which my glasses won't let me do.:quickdraw::infantry::fenforcer:
