well my brother has the tundra wheels like that. not sure if they are any different as far as back spacing and offset, but they look exactly the same

awesome, are they sequoia wheels or tundra?
if they are the sequoia, do you know if there is any difference between the tundra version of these as far as offset/back spacing goes?
my brother has some 17" rims like that

edit: after reading your build i see they're the tundra rims.
makes me want them sooo bad lol almost want to buy them from my brother

They are relatively hard to find. I had to buy my 5th from a local junk yard I think it was around $150 The Tunda and Sequoia wheels are the same. I got lucky and had a buddy selling his '04 Tundra rt at the time I was looking for the wheels so I traded him my stock steelies with new tires for them

The same shit everyone else has.
Yesterday - Picked up a spare set of 17" Sport wheels just because the price was right. I may end up having them powder coated and running them.

Today - Washed and waxed it. Redid the tint on the foglights.

Yeah I was researching this earlier and they're 7.5" wide 15mm offset vs. the 30mm we have. Backspacing comes out to 4.84" which should be just enough to keep 285s off the UCA.

I got Method Grid rims and Pro-Comp Sport A/T 265-70-17 tires mounted yesterday. This setup replaced the stock stamped steel 16" rims with the Dunlop 245 tires (with 41K miles on them). I just filled up with gas tonight so I'm interested in what happens to my gas milage.

Today was the 1st day to and from work and so far I love the look and with the extra sidewall it helps with all the crappy roads here on Oahu.

    I have noticed;
-They make a lot more road noise
-I felt like I was wandering in the lane a little.
-Stopping distance grew as they "feel" heavier"
-The truck "feels" like it is working slightly harder to get going from a stop or even from 40-60 mph and faster. IMG_5522.jpgIMG_5523.jpg

Finally got the truck washed. Put the RRT up on the Relentless Fabrication crossbars. Installed some locks to the RRT as well. Overkill? Probably but gives me piece of mind when I'm off hiking for days on end.

That would make sense then with what you're saying. Load E is a real beefy, heavy tire and you're bound to notice it when you're driving around. I wouldn't be surprised if you take a small hit on MPG as well.

You'll feel a difference for sure if your moving from stock rims and tires. You're putting a heavier tire on a heavier rim. When I went from 265/70/17 to 275/70/17 I felt a difference and the 275 isn't that much bigger
