I miss that whistle on my old Mustang :). Are you noticing better throttle response on the low end with the combo? It was definitely noticeable on my Mustang, and have been considering it for the Taco

Thoes look nice. I may just go with them. Were they easy to install? I see they're universal. And do they have much flex? I need something that won't rip off or damage anything if I were to get stuck in soft sand.

Very flexible. A lot of Tacos are using these. I used cardboard to make a template. Trace the flap on cardboard. Set it where you want them. Then push hard on cardboard and existing hardware leaves impression on cardboard. Cut hole and mount with factory hardware. There are tiny self tapping screws included so can add an extra screw where needed. Simple and functional.

Fixing lazy and stupid in one foul swoop.

My weather seal on the tonneau cover was failing and was lazy and hit the nearest big box store for double sided tape in stead of picking up automotive grade tape (lazy and stupid).

Then in a haste applied the shit over the old adhesive (lazy). Well shit didn't hold more than 24 hours. So now spending the morning fixing my shit.

Lesson kids....do your shit when you have plenty of time...46" to go.:anonymous:

I derped my badges with plasti-dip and they turned out great. Any reason not to use plasti-dip when i do the grille?

Noo I prefer it. I took a glossifier over my grille and badges to give it a shiny look at the end so it matches better with my paint
