I'd bet moving the sensor would do it.
Also is that potentiometer for those fans? If not then it then it may be the wrong resistance range and isn't affecting resistance enough to change the voltage?

 

The potentiometer controls the temperature signal but I don't know how its adjusting the resistance; ie, does raising the resistance cause the fans to come on sooner or later?

I can move the sensor but that would require buying a new HPS silicone hose kit as I had to cut the lower hose to fit the sensor adaptor.

I'm already commited to draining the fluid as its been told that the 170 stant thermostat doesn't have a jiggle valve and its higly recomended to drill a 1/8th (ish) hole in it.

Can't meter it. Can't get to the leads without opening the unit.

I've been reading that people have had issues with 190*-200* when installing their T-stat due to improper jiggle valve orientation. I hope drilling a hole in the stant t-stat will help.

Along the ring where the jiggle valve goes. Engine temps might be a bit slower in raising but not a big deal.

Second member to be running the Haltech Elite 2500 on a 1GR. First person to be using a Boomslang modified Unichip plug-n-play harness on an '09+ model.

All as of Tuesday evening! Boomslang REALLY came through with that modification!

 

Yes! Working the kinks out Torspd. I really appreciate all of the help along the way! I drove the truck to work 25 miles each way so far and it is running alright. She needs some dyno time. Once dialed in on the current set up, it will be time to get off the spring and get on the boost controller. 10 PSI should be fun....stay tuned, pun intended!

 

Guys, turbo plans might be gone. Cv boots keep tearing and I've had it. I've got a diff drop kit from toytec and if it doesnt help enough I'm cutting shit till I feel better or till I can fit an axle under it

If I sas it I'm putting in a diesel.

 

We will allow you to put in a turbo deisel.

 

Depends if the diff drop doesnt work

 

I got the high angle boots with a 2.5" lift and diff drop. Still have issues with my boots failing .

that would cost as must as my whole set up haha plus having to tig all that Ti would take forever but I mean it takes all kinds to make the world go round

 

Looks like it will be about 840 bucks to dump the exhaust before my axle or out my bedside
