Absolutely in love with this bike and brand. Really eyeing a new slack hardtail, too. I bought a house on the trails and have ridden them so much I need some variety

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Anyone use a hitch mounted bike rack with a swing out carrier? Trying to see if I can use this as an alternative if I don't have enough room in the bed for my rail mounted setup. I was thinking a 6"-8" extender would solve the problem.

First thing I thought about when I saw that pic. East Coast peeps are always like SoCal doesn't have any grass or trees.
But I'm like SoCal has plenty of concrete and graffiti. :headbang:

I do not but wish I did. Rocky Mounts and Yakima both make a rack that has a swing out now, but I have a Kuat NV that works perfectly fine and cant justify buying a new rack just for that reason.

There is a company out of Utah that makes a swingout extender and some guys on here have it. Cant remember the name, but I do remember looking it up and they are like $200+ ....seeems like a lot of $ to me.

Awesome! Thank you for the link.

Also, I'll be heading out to your next of the woods next month on the return trip back. Any suggestions for an evening of fun in Ruidoso?

I'm not, but I met the owner last year I think. Really nice guy and he talked with us for about an hour about it. It seemed like a solid product.

cool. I was wondering if it wiggled around a lot or had play in it. that's the only thing that I don't like about hitch mounted stuff.
