    Husband is retired (Navy) too but we still follow the lines. And we like to stay at some bases while traveling. This was NPS in Monterey. The historic DelMonte hotel, it's amazing! But it seems to happen everywhere.

    Nope, I watched them park. He and his wife got out and even looked at where the truck was. I was going to say something pleasant, but then his daughters got out of the truck and I decided that they have it bad enough with their parents. Having some random guy point out the damage to the human gene pool would not do them any good.
