Not my truck...but yes it is. You can tell a longbed by the extra foot of fender between the rear wheel and cab.

Anyone have a picture of a James Baroud mounted on a shortbed bed-rack? (i know the tent is like 6' long but bed is only 5' long)

Check out this build. Scroll down to post #43 is where he installed the Baroud. Granted it's on the cab and then moved back onto the cap but you'll get a feel for it. I believe the Baroud is 89" long.

Here the thread for my build from scratch.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/box-rocket-trailer-build.192955/

initial cost of just getting a "rolling box" was about $1500. Currently without the cost of the RTT I probably have $2100 into it.

Great idea. I've been trying to find a spot for poles on my truck. Thinking about securing them to the rack uprights, but this may take the day, maybe. With the RTT already secure, and not wanting to unbolt it, anyone have any tricks to getting a bolt into the tracks without sliding them in from the ends?

I got my RTT hoist operational again. It's great to be able to use the truck like a truck

I like having options in what kit I have on the truck. All depends on what we are going to do. This gives options. Highly recommended especially if you don't have a strong person around to move thenheavy object around.

Mine just has some plastic caps that pop off on the ends. So I was able to slide the bolt in then put the caps back on.

That's a good point. I've got myself conditioned to only think of the rails between the front and rear crossbars. I forget there's more room there.
