Let me hear what you guys recommend:
    I have a 17 sr5 4x2 dcsb. I will have it lift with ready lift kit 3".

Which tires should I get, 99% on pavement. I won't be doing any off road, no snow or mud. Pretty dry in Austin tx.

I had bf good rich for my 95 4runner before and I loved it but recently i been reading they are not how they used to be. Some driver only able to get out ~25k miles out of it.

I like to try duratrac this time. But not sure which size will suitable after it being lifted. Should I stay with Bf. Please educate me as I am a newb when it comes to truck. This is my first truck so take it easy in me. TIA
    Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac 115s
    Or Bf good rich Ko2

Discount tire recommends 265 70 17 but this was before I have it lifted. I don't want to go too wide rather have it tall but not too skinny and still have the aggressive look.

With the 3" lift you can fit 285/70/17s if you want. Might rub a bit if you go offroad but no big deal. 265/70/17 if you want no rub but they will look a smidge small with a 3" lift. You can run 265/70/17s without the lift.

I like the KO2s over the Duratracs but either is good.

Lift alone does not increase your capacity for tire size. If you want to run larger than 265/70/17 or 265/75/16 you need to be OK with trimming, possibly CMC etc

If you're flexing out offroad and/or have high offset wheels sure but this isn't necessary for most people - OP in particular. The guy has TRD wheels which have solid offsets for bigger tires, they have the most success with minimizing rub. 285s don't mandate a CMC if you are just rolling around on the streets and have proper offset wheels. Besides a bit of rub isn't a big deal short of very extreme situations.

It will be rubbing when he's at full lock and reversing out of a parking space. Never been a fan of tires that don't fit correctly.

I don't disagree here. My thought is just if OPs okay with a spacer lift and only cruising the streets he'll probably be okay with a bit of rub to get that 285 look. Or so I'd imagine. Maybe not.

Looking at these options for my sport. I think I'm going to go with the KO2s. The next question is white letters out or in...

Depends on color of your truck and color of the wheels. If its the one in your avatar I would definitely say white letters in but thats just me.

It is. I'm trying to track down some black wheels that I like, like the TRD beadlocks, but I haven't had any success. I've been stalking around and have come across some trucks like mine that look fairly decent with the white letters out. Idk, it might be a game time decision when the time comes.

well if you're only on road, you really don't need an all terrain. So you could actually scrap the KO2s and the Duratrac and go with something like the michelin LTX and likely get much better rain traction and possibly MPG.
And the LTX would actually have better on road braking distance.

So could consider that, but if you just want looks then duratrac. I have them and love them but I have them in the C rated 112 index.
265 70 17 and you don't need a cab mount chop. If you go any wider you'll likely need to trim cab mount.

    On yours, yes.
I'm wanting a wheel with the silver trim like on the beadlocks, so IMO the white letters would make it pop.

    c is 6 ply, e is 10 ply.
E rated is stronger and has a higher load capacity but also heavier so hurts fuel economy. And the tacos are no where close to heavy enough nor have the payload to need an E rated tire.

I wasn't sure about this tire size since no one ever mentioned. I think I'll stick to 265. Thank you
