Yes, I know. My rear end is 60 years old so it's bound to sag. But my 2016 Tacoma 4X4 AC was purchased last October and I had the dealer install a "leveling kit" so I could put on some bigger shoes. There were times over that 6 month I thought the rear was a bit lower than the front and other times it looked level. But now, I see it is definitely sagging. and a measurement to the top of the front and rear wheel wells confirms a discrepancy of about 1-1/4". I found out from my dealer which shop they used to have the lift kit installed. I went there this week and the guy who did the lift came out and measured to a point on the body line at the front and rear of the doors and proclaimed the truck was level. (He was very defensive). I told him that visually, you can see that the gap between the top of the tire and wheel well was larger in the front than in the back. He looked at his records and said they raised the front 2" and put a 1" block in the back. He thinks that replacing the 1" block with a 1-1/4" block will level it out... any more and the rear end will be too high. So I took it to another shop that a different dealer uses and they first told me that the Tacomas have an known issue that causes the drivers side to sag more than the passenger side, and then said they only make 1" or 2" blocks, nothing in between.

So I'm asking for some help from the Phoenix area members who they might recommend to help me with this problem. Another option I thought of is the have the springs re-arched to level the truck out. This is my work truck and I do carry about 150 lbs of equipment in the back all the time, but I had the dealer remove the tow hitch at that thing freed up at least 40 lbs. Any Ideas?20161121_093658.jpg

Welcome to tw. There is a a place a couple members have used that re arch springs to what you want. Basically will have you come by talk to them and bring your truck in with what weight you usually drive with. Then they will take it from there. @TRON_ @XPOTRPR these guys can fill you in more and with the company name as I forgot

Air bags....super easy install and adjustable to each load you have up to 1k lbs. I have had them for about 8 months and love them and I have PUNISHED! them and carry a constant load of atleast 800# with no problems. Firestone Ride Rite kit without compressor, around $400 and about 2 hr (easy) install. Just my 2 cents

I've used Dunbar Springs downtown Phoenix in the past. They leveled out my 2006 GMC 4X4.

Very easy to install, and the link I posted, he is offering the bags with the Daystar cradles which are another, I believe, around $150. This is a great deal. They attach to your existing leaf pack with brackets. Then the air bags attach to the frame through the large existing hole near your rear shock. It really is a very very easy install. A few wrenches and some red thread locker. There are a few boots that are kinda tight to get to but not impossible. Just take your time. I can tell you, from your explanation of what you are experiencing, in my opinion, these would work very well for you. As simple as, load your truck and if it sags, shoot a few psi in the bags and "boom" right back to level. Then when you unload, let some psi out and "boom" right back to level. Easy as that.

One more great thing about them, they are all push lock fittings, so no worrying with Teflon tape or dope. Like I said I have run mine for almost a year with no issues. And this is the response of most people I have read that run them. But again, in today's society climate, I STRESS, THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION, I'm sure the ALL KNOWING EXPERTS will chime in, so take my suggestion with a grain of salt I guess. I just ran 3200 miles through NM, AZ, AND UT, through the Hans Flat road through the Canyonlands National Park to The Maze via Hans Flat Road to High Spur Overlook (very remote, takes 3 days for search and rescue to reach you) with a constant static load of atleast 800# (RTT, BED BARS, BEDSLIDE, 150# steel tool drawer, and gear)...absolutely punished my truck, then drove the 1600 miles back to Dallas, Texas and it drove like the day it was delivered to my house. So, take my statement for what it is, personal experience. I like them, and will prob run them from here on out.

I have Sumo Springs installed on my truck. They work great. They help support the rear end from sagging with loads in the bed and towing. Cost around $170. Very easy to install in less than 1 hour.
