Oh fuck my body is NOT used to these mid watches. My schedule is weird and rotating so at the most I'm only doing three days in a row of 6pm-6am, and last night was my first time standing the watch. I get home and go to sleep and I woke up 2 hours later wide the fuck awake. Luckily with some patience I was able to fall back asleep for another couple hours but damn. Unless I get a nap in before work I'm awake until 7am tomorrow.

Luckily I've woken up a bit more since posting that, so hopefully I'll survive tonight! It's not a guarantee though.

At least you don't have the neighborhood heavy metal, thrash band playing in a wooden shed 50 ft from your bedroom window.

They've been at it since about 1pm and going strong.

back in. one night off (tomorrow) then coverage on Sunday and Monday night. But I'll sneak into double-time next week so there is that :D

No bands near me thankfully. But I did mishit the AC control this am and forgot to "hold" the temp. So I woke up after an hour when the temp upstairs went past 80*... That sucked. took awhile to cool down and fall back asleep.

    Ouch! That really sucks.

One perk of my job is I get 90 minutes during shift to PT but that really means do whatever the fuck you want. Last night I took a nap in my car. Tonight I brought a blanket and pillow to make it even better.

Understandable. I wouldn't expect really anywhere else to do it, but here there's 3-4 of us to do a one man job, so no one cares. Makes it a bit more manageable.

On nights here, they allow you to use your lunch break to power nap, as long as you are reachable by radio. And it's a one and done if you abuse it or try any "my radio was down low". Not really allowed per say, but our boss has said that technically our lunch is our lunch and he's ok with it.

That's really cool of him! Sometimes a little power nap is all you need to recharge your batteries enough.

Very true. I've only tried a couple times years ago and can't sleep here. Just feels wrong to me and keeps me awake. Now, back in the Navy... I could crawl into some piping and g'night

I've not even test fitted them to see if the calipers will clear my rims. Hopefully, ill get to that latter on today. But def going with genuine Toyota rotors and pads.

My other predicament is is my new extended stainless brake lines are going to work or if I'm going to have to spend money on the wheelers kit.

Mine will work but I have to use the hardliners on the calipers which really doesn't bother me much, but I would rather just have the soft lines to the caliper.
