Hids 6000k or 8000k?

    all around bilstens 5100 set on high, Satoshi grill, custom JL audio system, kenwood cd deck, Clifford alarm, weathertechs, custom light bar, k&n intake, super 40 flowmaster
    Im on my way to get some hids for my 05, can make up my mind on going with either 6k or 8k what do you guys think?

    4300K, will give the most lumens (light) on the road....and that is the reason for switching to HIDs right...more light on the road...!

    wrong, any higher than 4300K they loose their lumens...

Interior mods: TRD seat covers, LED map and dome lights, 2 kicker 10' w/ 500 watt amp, pioneer door speakers,and Pioneer AVIC X930BT.
    8ks on mine..and i fucken love em

    oil change...
    I had 6k and then switched to 4500k. they are not as blue but are brighter, they still have a very slight tint of blue to them

    I want a light blue look but something more like the range rovers or bmws i dont want anything to blue

    then you need a retro and use phillips 85122 bulbs...thats the only way to get that look...a cheap PNP kit will NOT get you those results...

    ^ full retro info is in my sig...otherwise, here is my for sale thread of a OEM PNP kit...here

    thats all OEM stuff and will get you as close as you can get to the BMW, etc without doing the retro.

    okay so i went with the 35w 6000k and the look pretty cool, its exactly what i wanted and these light are not hard to put on.
