GA Wheeling Trip Thread.

You can take your truck as well. Thats what I did in the past and going to do again.
They might have certain trails that are only for atv's. that I am not certain. But if they do they would be marked as such.

 

Ok after I get buy the 4x4 tacoma I may try to talk to gf into going for a weekend, they have cabins so she might actually go for it.

 

Its a nice place. even if yall tent camp, the bath house is kept clean and was nicely kept.

 

I suggested that she come last time to Tray Mtn for the weekend, after finding out we would be in the woods in a tent without toilets or showers she had this horrified look.
With a cabin and showers she might be willing to go.

 

i got lucky with mine. She's down to camp anytime.

I have this same problem. Glamping sucks, to much shit to haul around.

 

I cant wait or my little one to get bigger so i can start camping... She does not mind riding all day but camping is still a no....

 

Can't believe I'm just now finding this thread. Unfortunately I have shift right in the middle of those two time frames. But may next time.

I am from SC, working in Sandy Springs for a few weeks, I'd love to join yall this weekend, 6/3-4

 

Would love to have you join us, but it doesn't look like its happening this weekend......Unless us (cough cough) Georgia locals come together for a Sunday ride.

 

Honestly Sunday would be best, I have an event Saturday Morning and into early afternoon.

 

I've been wanting to take my wife to Helen and the trails up that way, but after most of the guys said they couldn't make it this weekend I wrote the whole trip to Helen and Tray mountain off. Lets see how my yard work and such plays out Saturday. Maybe we can make Sunday happen. I'll let you know.
How long are you in Sandy springs for?

 

I have been here for a few months, but this is my last weekend and I just re-discovered this forum.

 

If you have some experience and can pick a line in one or two places I think you could do trey yourself, if you want go back a few pages theres a map to get to the trail. Dont have pictures of where the trail splits but glad to answer some questions for you to get there.
