    Picking up my son from daycare today, got "stopped" by another dad picking up their kid. Drove a black Ram.

    Complimented me on my truck, especially my retros. Asked me all about them. Said the truck looked good with the blacked out look.

    He mentioned something about the tailgate assist thing. Said there is one that has a piston that doesn't mess up the cable, because his truck's tailgate had the same "problem" as ours. Anyone know about that? The one I've seen and read about messes up the cable over time...

    I did a lot of reading and everything came down to the old saying, you get what you paid for. I bought 3m brand 2ft in width x 5ft in length. The color is gloss black code 1080. I bought it on ebay for $35 shipped to my door. Keeping my That it turns out decent.IMG_5726.jpg
