    Potato potatoe.

I am married, but I know a guy who knew a guy who did stuff like that. Usually it was still full priced and they were dtf anyway. My tattoo shop is underneath the busiest bar in downtown Petaluma... I opened it at 21. Hypothetically speaking, one could have crushed it with that setup.

    Some really cool shit

As mentioned before, I am part of an event that is taking place in August. Hope you might have interest in this endeavor. Need swimmers to participate, and help raise money for The Foundation. Hope you can spread the word, as well.

This event is similar to a Walk-Athon, where swimmers help raise money by enlisting individual sponsors to donate money for them completing the swim.

    August 6th 2017
Come swim for the Navy SEALs and help us “never leave a man behind”.

    EVENT REGISTRATION LINKS:
    SWIMMERS
    GENERAL VOLUNTEERS
    SAFETY KAYAKERS
The Golden Gate Frogman Swim (sister swim to the Tampa Bay Frogman Swim) is a 1.5 mile open water swim and fundraiser that benefits the Navy SEAL Foundation (NSF), a 501(c)(3) with a coveted four star rating by Charity Navigator.
100% of proceeds go directly to the NSF which supports wounded and fallen Navy SEALs, NSW Support Personnel and their families.

    DATE and PLACE
Sunday, August 6, 2017. Kirby Cove to Ft Baker, Golden Gate Recreational Area, CA. Course map here.

    AMENITIES
All swimmers will receive an American made event t-shirt and hoody designed by Forged Clothing and upon finishing will be awarded a TB Frogman coin presented by a US Navy SEAL or a surviving family member of a SEAL. Afterwards, everyone is invited to the post race party at TBD The party will feature a buffet brunch, beer provided by TBD, the awards ceremony and a raffle with some awesome prizes. Guests can purchase an entry wristband (covers food/beer) for $15 at the finish area or at party.

    REGISTER

Registration now open. There are absolutely no refunds for this event as this event is a fundraiser with 100% of the proceeds going to the Navy SEAL Foundation.
Please visit imAthlete.com for quickest processing. Please register early as we are limiting the inaugural field to 50 swimmers.
    FUNDRAISING
As this is a charity event to benefit the families of wounded or fallen Navy SEALs, swimmers are asked to participate in fundraising. While $2500 is the ideal fundraising goal per swimmer, we appreciate the best efforts of our participants in helping us reach this year’s total fundraising goal of $200,000. Before registering, we ask that you please consider your ability to meet that dollar amount as you may be taking the slot of a swimmer who has every intention of meeting or exceeding that goal. If you’re registering just to set a PR or check off a bucket list item, this may not be the swim for you. Please remember, this is more than just a swim. Fundraising can be done via our imAthlete.com page, collecting donations personally or through the “Donate” button on our home page. Please visit www.navysealfoundation.org to learn more about this very special cause. The following quote captures the essence of the Tampa Bay Frogman Swim, a spirit we hope to duplicate in the Golden Gate Swim…

“The third annual Tampa Bay Frogman swim was held yesterday. I have to admit that it took being here to fully appreciate what the event was really about. It was easy to get caught up in the swimming part of the event – some swimming superstars participated. I was fortunate to meet Olympian Brooke Bennett and Craig Lenning, who has accomplished the Swimming Triple Crown. But the day and event wasn’t about the swimming. I know that I can’t express what the event was really about. Somewhere between the Opening Ceremony, where they read aloud the names of SEALs who died in service to our country, and the Closing Ceremony, where they talked about the incredible sacrifices made by some SEALs and the hope of those over coming serious injury, I lost count of the number of times my eyes welled up and I realized the event had nothing to do with swimming.”

Anthony McCarleyFour time TB Frogman finisher, Swimming Triple Crown finisher (2014)…and NoCal native.

    FITNESS LEVEL

The Golden Gate Frogman Swim, a 1.5 mile open water event, may be challenging for even seasoned swimmers, therefore it is recommended that swimmers possess some degree of open water experience or, at the very least, competitive long distance pool experience. To ensure the safety of the swimmers, the event committee will reserve the right to review the swimming experience of each participant and possibly deny registration to the event if safety concerns exist; or some swimmers may be asked to furnish a letter from a sanctioned swim team or masters coach attesting to their ability to complete such an arduous open-water event.
    WATER TEMPERATURE
The water temperature of the Bay is usually between 55-63 degrees in August, and as a result, wetsuits are mandatory. Exceptions, i.e., swimmers training for the English Channel, etc., will be made on case by case basis at the race director’s discretion prior to the event.

Don't much like the mandatory wetsuit... I'd be happy to paddle my 10' longboard as an escort though...

Spotted this sweet Tundra. Wanted to get a good photo. Had to pull over and settle for a quick video. Tried to follow for a bit hoping for that photo op, but lost interest when he got on the freeway.

Not enough to have a build thread.
Same. Even have plans drawn up. And wiring run. Ah, the weight of unfinished projects

So cool. I'm going to try and get my buddy to do it with me.

I'm not sure about the wetsuit...

Last time I did a swim in my wetsuit I rubbed a hole in my neck.

Well I'd like to introduce my TW brethren to Waffles (white) and Bacon. Guess who gets to clean up double the shit everyday?
