    Afternoon everyone

    Just got back from looking at some more gun safes and I think I found what I'm looking for https://www.turners.com/stack-on/stack-on-tactical-security-cab-263384

    This should work for me , the only issue is my Savage .308 bolt rifle is 55" from butt to muzzle brake

    Its a warm day here today currently its 97 deg /23% humidity and still have maybe more hours of possibly warmer temps . inside my place its a comfortable 27 deg cooler !!

    Hopefully it cools down some so I can take my Camaro out for a little exercise . Right now ive got it on the battery tender charging the battery

    True closest I ever came to that here was a possum under my old house and here in this one there were two ground hogs dug in next to the foundation . One left of his own accord the other met my working dog one night and was not fast enough nor smart enough to have gone to ground when the garage door went up. To be honest it was not a far fight ground hogs can fight but I had an automatic light that kicked on when I opened the side door of the garage, I opened it Justice went charging off into the yard as par normal. Well all I heard was almost a rabbit type oh shit squawling noise looked up from closing the door and there is Justice with the ground hog . I figure the light had to have blinded the ground hog for a moment when it came on and he never saw Justice coming.

    I used to work as an electrician in Scottsdale Ariz back in the 80's and used to sweat my ass off in those attics . The warmest day I worked was 129 in Bullhead city , you can just imagine how hot it was in the attic !!!

    Hate ground hogs , prairie poodles, all the same. Grandpa used to shove coke bottles in the holes.

    Well I got finished with what I had to do before the spray foam.

    Our water comes from the Bunker Hill aquifer where rainwater and snow melt collects from the mtns

    The water from the deep creek spillway runs north into the high desert and is mainly used for agricultural

    These work great and adds safety. It has an adjustable tether that clips right into the seat belt receiver.

    Edit to fix link.

    You may want to really look at that thing, I know a few guys who bought them they are no more then 14 gauge steel( Think 2x's as thick as the steel on your Camaro) a sharp cabinet screw driver and a hammer can cut a hole in it in a few moments with minimal noise. And yes I know that for a fact though, not that model a friend who did not believe me challenged me to do it after I told him it was crap. Not to mention it is very light weight they can just pick it up, rock it back and forth to pull the bolt heads through the interior or pry it up and take the whole thing. If they will steal a 40 inch TV that would be much more valuable. When you do get one move it in the house wrapped in a padded blanket or an appliance box. Look at liberty they are heavy but the locking dogs are 4 1 inch rods per side and 2 for the top and bottom with a glass relocker in them . You may be able to pry it up but jamming it around like that and any force put on the handle or attempt to pry breaks the relocker . The only way to open it then is to drill at the right location use a screw driver to lift the relocker after you do the combo or torch / plasma cutter. Yep know that too since my ex tried to open the safe once and did not have the combo done right yanked the handle and tada permanently locked safe. It took me a while through the dealer to get the diagram on where to drill that model and what shape the screw driver had to be bent to reach. Not many people have diamond tip drill bits :} or access to them and a mag drill :}

    My new place has an ADT Alarm system plus the walk in closet in my bedroom where this safe will be will be bolted to the floor and wall studs . The door to the closet will have a deadbolt lock and striker plate will have 4" screws into the door frame

    If they can get into my place without setting off the alarm then opening up the door with the deadbolt .Then carrying out a 98lb cabinet without being noticed then they are good

    Mike I like the way your sliders are filled in. I know at some point I would put my foot thru them.
