Very interesting! Especially since everyone online says that dynabeads are a magical cure-all!
They do a number on the finish of the wheel too. I saw one that looked sand blasted. Inside of the tire looked fine, though.
    Glad you're rolling smooth again.

Yeah, the dyna beads seem like a really good idea if it works. For me so far, it worked only 50% of the time. They work on my other set of MT2's but just not on these Iroks. Another thing is that the guy that balanced the tires said that there was less beads in some tires and a lot in others. I don't know if they turned to dust in some or if the guy that put them in there just dropped some on the ground. Or, maybe there was an equal amount in each tire but some was stuck inside the tire where they couldn't see them to get them out. Like stuck on lube or water inside the tire.

Thanks. They are smooth. The dynabeads just couldn't balance them.

Well, I finally got these rear 2.5 ADS shocks in. Definitely beef. I'll update this thread after I install it this afternoon.

Here's a few pics of the new shocks:

Install went smooth. Shocks came with a rubber bump pad on the shock shaft:

X2! Does the shock clear the axle mount? I had to grind mine for billies, but I think that's just because of the tapered shims. They're tiny compared to those!

Holy shit! @Vigo Thanks for reminding me to check.

Perhaps it's because my shocks were ordered at a custom length, maybe they used a shorter rod end on the shaft, but I checked clearance with the rubber bumper and had to clearance quite a bit to feel safe about the bottom of the shock contacting the mounts on the axle. Might have been a disaster if I wheeled it like that. Here's some pics:

I do like them. I only have Icon's to compare them to though, but honestly, I would think you wouldn't "feel" any difference from your Kings.

Glad you avoided that mess! When I saw the first pics, I was like hmmm that looks too close for comfort. My 5100s are inverted, so the body is at the bottom, and with the tapered shims and some axle wrap, it was contacting the tabs.

They biggest difference between the Icons and ADS's ride is on washboard type terrain. You could feel the smaller bumps more with the Icons. I expected that because of the whole digressive/progressive valving shpeel. Other than that, they both are smooth offroad. Also, my old Icons weren't adjustable so it's hard to compare them.
