Ok. But you have to help me unload. Also my neighbor told me the 6.0 wasn't reliable, and you should look for a 7.3

My other neighbor pronounces "oil" as "ol". I give him such a hard time about it

 

lol no offense to your neighbor.... but I respectfully disagree.... the 6.0L gets a bad rap from people that dont know them....

the 7.3L is more "out of the box" reliable... BUT it's also old technology, slow, inefficient, and they have junk transmissions.

the 6.0L needs some TLC / preventative work, but it can be "bulletproofed" and reliable and it's pretty quick for moving a 10,000 truck

My mom has an '02 with the 7.3 in it. Tows heavy loads regularly since it was bought new 15 years ago and has needed nothing but basic maintenance and inexpensive repairs here and there. Has about 240k on it now. My dad had one a few years newer with the 6.0 and had so many fucking problems with the engine in that thing. Seemed like every time I chatted with him, he was dumping thousand in repairs into it. This is a mechanically savvy guy who used to build engines for race boats and helped me swap my engine in my '88 Nissan pick up, so things aren't breaking out of negligence. YMMV.

 

@Me. Projekt I can pick them up during the week. I need to put 500 miles on my truck before the 14th so I can change my diff fluids before my move.

 

Lol thanks! I'm pumped with how they look. I've got some bedside decals to do tomorrow as well. I never lose my patience with decals, even though it would have been easy to do so with these because all of the little pieces for Vader's mouth area were reluctant to detach from the sticker sheet.
