Created an account just to ask OP (and anyone else that would care to reply): How are you liking the setup? Still happy? I'm about to pull the trigger on the exact same kit.
Heard too many good things about this setup & Headstrong!

Good to hear, I have an 08 OR prerunner pretty much bone stock. Starting to have funds to throw at it now, so doing my homework lol. I'm thinking of going with this kit and a set of 285/75/16 wildpeaks.

    PS Thanks for the welcome!

Do you tow/haul a good amount? If so and funds permitting, you may want to consider the Dakars instead of the stock leaf packs + AAL. The stock leafs are notoriously weak and yours are 9 years old now.

Recall springs but I hear they still suck. I don't really tow, maybe a couple fishing kayaks. Open to all recommendations though, for sure.

I'm loving it! Rides so much better and a lot more solid on the corners! The KO2s are a lot more quieter then the open countries I have for winter driving. The only thing is the MPG drop, but I knew that going into it so idc! You will need new UCAs though.. I'll be getting those in September

I don't really care either lol

Well seeing as some do and some don't I hope I'll fall into the latter. I'll get them if I have to.

I have had 885s on my 2013 and my 2014 with stock UCA's and have had no issues with alignment. You should be fine, rear leaf pack wise, if you don't have weight in the back constantly than the dakars would probably be too stiff, I know a lot of 3rd gens guys sell off their leaf packs pretty cheap if they upgrade so that's something to consider with an AAL

You'll be good with an AAL then. Good luck and post pics afterwards.

Finally got this setup installed, had a buddy of mine who is a certified Lexus/Toyota tech do it for me earlier today at the dealership.

    I went with:
    5100
    885X
    Deaver AAL
    1/4 spacer
    Ko2 @ 265/75r16

I didn't take measurements before but it looks like I got 2.5 up front and 1.5 in the rear. It sits about level now maybe a hair higher in the rear but definitely not as drastic of a rake as it had before the lift. I'm definitely happy with it. It's just like everyone has said "it's not stiff just firmer in a good way"

Here's a couple crappy pictures walking out of the tire shop. I'll get a better comparison picture up later.

Congrats. It'll setlle a bit, but not much. You will have a small rake when all is said and done. But not a bad thing.

Yeah, I can stand to see Taco's with the bro lean going on when hauling stuff in the bed because they leveled it out.

You won't regret it. They have a light duty and heavy duty offering now so be sure to compare them and decide which is better for your needs. @HeadStrong Off-Road did a nice write up on them recently.

Yeah I went over the whole thread. I have a few guys selling a used set of the older version for half the price I might jump on. What do you think

Do it. I'm partial to the older version with isolators. They've been silent ever since I put them on. But do make sure you get poly bushings on both ends of the pack and grease the shit out of them. Should be squeak-free with that set up.

So are you guys getting new rear shocks or are you running 5100's in the rear? I'm thinking of going dakars soon as I've been carting around a good bit of weight in the back
