Also grab a wire wheel brush for it too. Use that first and then a flapper wheel. That way you don't blow through wheels when you use them.

I'd say that the three foot steel pipe on the end of a breaker bar was the most helpful followed by a BFH to knock shit loose!

I was planning on putting the lift on but I overestimated my jack.
Then when I went to Harbor Freight I was so disheartened that I decided to postpone. And the 3 ton 20" lift jack goes on sale next week.
Now I just have to find another miracle weekend without the wife and kids......
    :pout:
On another note, getting to the pinch weld: do I just pry the plastic pieces out that hold the shield on? Is there a trick?
The threads I've found already have that removed.
Then, what's the main benefit of these things? Could I just cut them off altogether? When trying to get to the back of those pieces there was about a pound of sand and leaves so it's not doing much from what I can tell..

I saw that one, but I was hoping to get a little taller.
And like I say, I was just so defeated at that point, I just had to walk away and make myself a drink..

Dont see the need for dropping $100 on a bent piece of metal with four holes in it thats not including the d ring and bolts, when the factory part will do the job I need it to for a fraction of the cost. The D ring is a sweet part though.
