    My new A+ DIPA.
    Fort Hill - Jigsaw Jazz
    Double IPA - 9.3% ABV, 65 IBUs
    A bright, citrusy Double IPA with a deceptively light body and dry flavor. To compose this brew, we borrowed techniques used by Belgian brewers to achieve a big beer without much sweetness. The Citra dry hop gives this beer its bright citrus notes and aroma.

    Probably around 3+ hours away. There's some closer in the Dallas area but due to local laws they can't sell carry out from the breweries. So I'm at the mercy of the distributors and retailers.

    Its quite common because it is still experimental and not available. Quite often breweries establish relationships with hop growers. Then when the growers have come up with a new hop they let the brewery have a bunch to see how viable it is. St Arnolds here in Houston has released a couple beers in their Icon series with experimental hops from a German grower.
