    When you say failure is dangerous, that's only if the engine has to run on methanol in order to run?
    I understand that if I'm running a 2" pulley and 12 pounds of boost at 5000 rpms and the system stopped working you might have an issue, but if your running 8 pounds of boost and using the spray
    only for the higher boost 5 + where there was just a small amount of pinging before then if it failed there would not be a huge failure? just defaulted back to what I had before the meth kit.
    Am I correct? My 2.1 pulley pings just a very little at 8 pounds of boost.

    Yeah that's correct. It's not dangerous by itself. It's more like it's just so effective that when it does fail it's catastrophic IFF you have a tune dependent on it. This was a much more realistic draw back in the early days of after market methanol injection. Modern high end kits today have definitely upped the ante. The level of feedback is so much better on some kits you are able to monitor the status of the system in real time.
