What are you guys/gals running for USB/12v socket/Voltmeter?

This almost makes more sense as the outlet will be in the back of the 4runner for the fridge.

I have that middle one with a usb, volt meter, and socket on the center console passanger side, i like it a lot and think a seconed one might make it into the bed at some point

I have the top one. It's back there because the fridge sits behind the drivers side.

 

Did some exploring on the forest service roads north of I70 in the Vail valley today. Some were still seasonally closed, some were closed for vegetation restoration, and a few were open. None were particularly difficult, but it was a fun way to get out and enjoy nature with my wife and daughter.

 

I just caught a glimpse of a moose from my balcony.

 

Damn it. Do you know how often they do that?

 

Twice a year typically. During March and then sometime in the fall

Ran into that today when I went to check out Devil's Canyon... doesn't open until the 15th. Decided to hike some of it to check it out. Still had snow in the shady spots and some of it was wet with runoff. Ran across several illegal shooting spots... there was more brass than I could carry out in my cargo pockets (I filled them both). Plus, I wasn't ready to dedicate the whole day to picking up someone else's garbage. Did what I could and moved on. Not having been back there before, I can see why it's clearly popular... a high clearance 2WD could do 90% of the roads.

 

I'm relatively new to Denver and am wondering if there are dedicated 4x4 trails within 3hrs of Denver. I've got up a lot of the service roads but am looking for more of a "lockers required" type of trail rating. I've been using traildamage to find trails close by but I'm wondering if there are more.

 

Spring Creek is probably the closest

 

And Red elephant Hill... Guessing you just want more difficult trails?
