I know what happened... you got the ECO grill.

I got rust all over my BAMF grill, and I Love it. If someone would supply rubber bushings, that would have been great. In the meantime I am working on a mad-max look.

When I buy an Ikea shelf system and put it together without reading the instructions, and then find out I have to take the whole f%cking thing apart again to put in the center shelf, i have only myself to blame.

Would you include the claimed missing rubber grommets also?

Here is where we end this. I reached out to BAMF to see what was going on. Only after Jerry started on me about lack of accountability, did I become annoyed with this. That response is highly unprofessional. I'll press on and fix the issue. In the future, I won't bring my questions to this forum either. I thought that's why it was here. But if I wanted to get attacked this much for standing by what I feel is right, I'd just go to a Hillary rally with a MAGA hat on my head. Good day to you all. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Do you know what most do with paper instructions? Throw them away. We live in digital world, and most everything is moving away from paper.

This thread reminds when a customer of a vendor bitched about a re-stocking fee for a returned item and claimed the company never told them that. Ya..it's on their website under the returns area. Go figure- should have been included on a receipt and the instructions (that are also on their website) right?

So, instead of @JLee taking the blame, and "holding himself accountable" why can't you do the same?
Funny thing is, @JLee even offered to send you material to help you fix your error

Posting after the fact, but feel compelled to give my input. That rust in the photos is surface rust, and isn't a structural issue. To add, had the rubber parts been installed, it wouldn't be an issue. That being said, I found that the Rust oleum Satin Black seems to be a pretty close match to most powder coating. If you are going to off road, you WILL get scratches, dings, etc. This might be good for use as a touch up. When using the spray paint, don't apply it like your trying to kill it. Lightly spray, then walk away for an hour. Do this 3 of 4 times, and BOOM! Back to new!

Another thing, since I cant keep my mouth shut. When purchasing aftermarket parts, such as bumpers, sliders, or anything steel, and custom made. I can pretty much assure you that your money goes twards the Steel used, time spent making the item, overheads, R&D, etc. Powder coating isn't very high on a list of things to consider. Not saying they don't think about it, but if you are going to base a purchase of an off road protection device (sliders, bumper, skids, whatever) on the powder coating, you might not be buying the right stuff. Just saying.......
