@chrisrocks300, someone correct me if I'm wrong but you could just ground the cb to a front seat bolt. Idk that grounding the antenna is going to be the greatest.


I wouldn't be opposed to having it at my house. Plenty of concrete to park, on drinking if you want, and well I guess that's it. Only deal is type clanton, al in your Google maps. Lol

 

We did @TheTacoma's house last time because of the central location. Clanton would be great for me, but probably not so great for others.

 

You guys should really try out one of the oscillating sprinklers that you hook to you hose. I run 10 minute intervals moving it around.

 

Wait I thought you had to ground the antenna mount itself, at least that's what all the cb sites say

 

Then I'm wrong. Do that, it's gonna be hard to ground it near the bed though.

 

I got 20 feet of 14 gauge wire. I found a bolt closeish to the bed on the frame that was specifically made as a grounding spot I can use
