Not something I did, but something I found.

my radio has an aux function, but needs a cord run from the BACK of the system out to some opening.
    image.jpg

Thought I was going to have to disassemble the radio or just get a new one but it turns out that the guy before had installed one. It was hidden under a crevice between the cupholder and the carpet.

    Not seen in this photo:

vv And it's in this photo vv

Saved a couple hundred dollars by cleaning out the inside of my truck

    Stuff. Also things.
    Got my winch mounted up.

Still need to find a home for the contactor and get her wired up. Had to notch my grille slightly, but I think it still looks good!

Changed the oil. Bled/flushed the brakes for the first time using a motive power bleeder. What an awesome tool. Oh and put my tube bumper back on.

Thursday I installed a new Northstar battery and today was my k and n air filter.
After the air filter I took a three hour drive up the feather River canyon in northern California. Love this taco.

Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
Those wheels, as all later Toyota wheels, have 3/4" less backspacing than stock 1st gen wheels.

1.25" spacers will only push you out a 1/2" more than stock.

    Quick search yeilded:

    01 Taco 16x7 = 15mm offset
    07 T4R 16x7 = 30mm offset

    so ~.6" difference.

Either way, I'm looking at the Bora 1.0" or the Spidertrax 1.25".

As far as spacers go, I'm guessing I'd want to do front and rear to keep it symmetrical looking?
