Something cheap. Looking at a small portable like an 8K. I found some sweet mini split systems but they are in CA, and some marine units that are super low draw, a Honda 2000 can run it at idle, but it's $1800.

Cody and I went to Lake co and grabbed my new project today. Couldn't get it to run because of a fuel delivery problem so loading it was fun, other than that I had a lot of fun. Brought me back to my childhood, road tripping to BFE with my pops to pick up hot rods.

So I've been thinking about getting my wife a 4Runner TRD PRO and I just found out the 2018 model is going to have the 3.5 V6 which I wouldn't mind but I also found out they're going to a unibody next year. What do you guys think should I order one now or wait for the 2018?

If you can get a pro with out the markup get one now. The cement color is so sick too!

Otherwise go for a trail edition. It's has all the drive train bonuses of the pro, but different suspension, wheels, and valence. That what we bought, but would have snagged a pro IF we could find one and they didn't mark them up so bad.

I'm pretty sure. We got two 16's since one was totaled, but we got the second when the 17's were coming out.

Edit: I just checked. It looks like it was renamed to the TRD off Road? Probably for more market appeal. But specs look the same.

It's amazing how fucked up Toyota's packaging setup is. Crawl control in one but not the other leather only in the limited and you can only get a sunroof with certain colors. What the fuck does it mater what color it is just cut a fucking hole in the roof and put it in!!!

Yeah, we couldn't get a premium to save our lives either. We ended up adding leather aftermarket (katskins) through the dealer. At least the trail had everything we wanted, crawl control, kdss, twin sticks and no third seat bump.

Unless you're sold on the color. TRD PROs are nothing special.

The rumor is a unibody but I doubt they would do that. Also read it is getting the same chassis as the GX so still a body on frame. Bummed it might get the 3.5 as I'm not sold on that engine yet.
