Yea maybe , there are probably things that people want / need that I have no clue about yet . I've done small jobs for friends and family and I've done work for a few different company's also off the clock . It depends on how complex it is as to when I do it lol

hmmm, maybe sometime we could get togeather and come up with something . Seeing it and brainstorming usually comes up with some good ideas . See your already shooting out ideas that people need/want , but a nice anondized aluminum linkage or depending upon the application steel is certainly not out of the question. It usually easier to see something and then brain storm a idea

Maybe even make a prototype and make changes depending how it works / functions in the real world

I don't have anything off the top of my head this second , but looking into it and seeing others setup or what the application is im positive it could be made .

Do most cut into their grills usually ? Or modify them to work

Looking to add this hybrid winch bumper never seen one yet, spoke with some people they say you need to open hood and reach down to operate which clutch leaver
I'm looking to not having to do that

Ok so the winch is actually "hidden" behind the bumper and just the cable sticks out through that slot in the bumper . It's possible to do but you also need to get different measurements , and look at how you would connect everything . That dictates what the parts are made from (aluminum, steel, stainless steel , ect)

But yea I could see opening the hood to operate the winch would def be a big PIA lol

And sometimes when something is fabricated and it's in use you alway come up with a better idea, or think man I should of done this or that and that's how a good mod is made . Sometimes you need to refine it once you get it out in the field and actually use it . Sometimes things don't work the way you think they will on paper or in your head

Yea see mines a '07 , yours is a lot newer so I'm sure they might of changed a lot in those years . I'm not saying it can't be done it just I don't think something could be made without more info and knowledge about the application . When places design a linkage or levers they use modeling software and engineer it for that vehical and the software aids in the design of the component(s) where as we would be fab'ing this out of thin air

A program called solid works is just one of them and you can actually draw say a transmission and it will actually show you the gears "meshing" and any potential conflicts / interference problems . It actually shows you a working trans or whatever

Yea it's more than just throwing something togeather , speacially of you want something quality , something nice that will
Last and look like it's factory . It's about reasearch and design , and actual use
