    What are you looking for?
    They aren't available because you're looking :p

Once you buy and install you'll find several options.
Just like all the killer deals on plate bumpers the last 2 weeks:annoyed:

Basically looking for a steel front bumper with high clearance and winch capability. They always run around $1200 plus $200 shipping usually but I see craigslist bumpers for like $450 for 2nd gens

Good luck finding that for a third gen right now. I don't think many even have aftermarket bumpers yet for the third gens outside of the forum.

Yeah I scooped up the Demello bumper last week for $500 delivered.
Started the worst fight I've had in a long time.

I was fishing a farm pond in Hamilton. Instead of studying for the bar, I took my kayak out and went fishing Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Make sure all the recalls were done. Check the frame, headlight burn, leaf spring, the pedal getting stuck, I believe there is another one as well. Thats decent miles for an 09. I have 87K on my 09 and thats with a few deployments and it sitting.

I'd also check for any warping in the bed.

Looks pretty clean. As Eric mentioned, check for open recalls and the frame. Up to 2010 will be included in the recent frame settlement stuff, but the details haven't been announced yet far as I know. Its just a base model, but whatever options you would like could probably be fairly easily added. Lots of write ups on the 2nd gens here.

On some of the 2nd gens with DTRLs, the DTRL lights actually melted the plastic diffuser things inside. I think they were replacing the headlight assemblies or you could toss LEDs in there to keep them cooler.

2nd gens have the leaf spring recall. So you could get new leafs and then either an AAL or just pull them and put a new leafpack in there and sell the replacement ones.

I would probably add fog lights, heated seats, and (if it doesnt have it already) keyless entry which shouldn't be TOO difficult...

and then the normal stuff..... maybe I can convince @TacoCat to sell me a bunch of stuff off his truck before he trades it in!

Headlights - DTRL had a nasty melting problem - there was a voluntary recall. If it has melted you can just have the guy knock the price down. The headlights for 09 are stupid cheap. I plan on doing a retro myself on some depo, I plan on having @Coot83 help me out.

Frame settlement - Make sure to read up on it, the arbitration shit has finished, prelim settlement as been reached, waiting for the final judgement.

Besides that I'd double check the trans - I know back in 11/12 I had them fix an issue where it would take off on me shifting into drive (1st gear)

Few recalls, check the vin to make sure they were all done.

I'd also check the paint, 09's had some paint problems with bubbling underneath, weather seals on the doors, the dreading chirping in the blower motor.

besides that, truck is a fucking beast.
